Support Our Mission
Inspiring Hope, One Tiny Miracle at a Time
Our Story,
Our Mission
Our journey began with the early arrival of our daughter, Amari, born at just 1 pound 7 ounces. Despite her tiny size, Amari showed extraordinary strength and determination, spending three challenging months in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Those early days were filled with uncertainty, fear, and hope—and they forever changed our lives.
As we witnessed Amari’s courage and experienced the overwhelming support of family, friends, and the NICU community, we came to understand the power of compassion, access, and advocacy. That experience inspired the creation of Amari’s Micro Miracle Project, a nonprofit dedicated to ensuring that families facing life’s most fragile beginnings are never alone.
Our mission is rooted in the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, regardless of circumstance or ability. Through support for preemies and their families, as well as inclusive programs like our Literacy Program for Students with Disabilities, we work to break down barriers and create pathways to growth, confidence, and independence. We provide essential resources, emotional support, and educational tools that empower families and children during critical moments and beyond.
Today, Amari continues to thrive, and her journey remains the heart of everything we do. Through Amari’s Micro Miracle Project, we strive to share the hope, strength, and compassion that carried us through—supporting families in the NICU, uplifting children of all abilities, and building a community where every child is seen, supported, and given the chance to reach their full potential.
